01-07-2008
Human resources and know how:
A new Danish innovation centre in Munich will further enhance cooperation between German and Danish companies and research institutions. Thereby Denmark gets its third international innovation centre, with two already established in Shanghai and Silicon Valley, writes daily business Børsen.
Munich is described as one of Europe's leading research and innovation environments and home to two out of Germany's three top universities and a cluster of research-intensive companies.
The new Danish innovation centre in Munich, like the previous two centres, is intended to assist businesses and knowledge environments and identify partners, networks, investors and business opportunities.
The innovation centre is the third to be opened in the space of 18 months and the Danish Minister for Research, Helge Sander, has plans for more.
"Before completion of my term as Minister for Research, I would like to see 10 innovation centres established. The areas we are primarily focusing on are Israel, India, Singapore and Japan," he states to daily business Børsen.
